Mountain Sickness: mountain sickness, also known as altitude sickness, is a condition that can affect individuals at high altitudes, typically above 8,000 feet (2,400 meters). Symptoms may include headache, nausea, fatigue, and dizziness, caused by reduced oxygen levels in the air.

Sudatory: a medicine that causes or increases sweating.

Sweat Off: lose weight by sweating.

Air Sick: experiencing motion sickness.

Convalescence: gradual healing (through rest) after sickness or injury.

Glossina: bloodsucking African fly; transmits sleeping sickness etc.

Malaise: physical discomfort (as mild sickness or depression).

This condition can result in edema (swelling) in various parts of the body, particularly in the legs, ankles, and around the eyes.

Kuru: a progressive disease of the central nervous system marked by increasing lack of coordination and advancing to paralysis and death within a year of the appearance of symptoms; thought to have been transmitted by cannibalistic consumption of diseased brain tissue since the disease virtually disappeared when cannibalism was abandoned.
