Black Whale: small dark-colored whale of the Atlantic coast of the United States; the largest male acts as pilot or leader for the school.

Alum: a person who has received a degree from a school (high school or college or university).

Pupil: a young person attending school (up through senior high school).

Gymnasium: a school for students intermediate between elementary school and college; usually grades 9 to 12.

Acorea: absence of the pupil in an eye.

Homework: preparatory school work done outside school (especially at home).

Miotic: a drug that causes miosis (constriction of the pupil of the eye).
