Semestral: occurring every six months or during every period of six months.

Trimester: a period of three months; especially one of the three three-month periods into which human pregnancy is divided.

Bimestrial: occurring every two months.

Bimester: a period of 2 months.

Financial Year: any accounting period of 12 months.

Semester: half a year; a period of 6 months.

Bimonthly: occurring twice a month.

Postnatal: occurring immediately after birth.

Antenatal: occurring or existing before birth.

Life: the period during which something is functional (as between birth and death).

Lactation: the period following birth during which milk is secreted.

Julian Calendar: the solar calendar introduced in Rome in 46 b.c. by Julius Caesar and slightly modified by Augustus, establishing the 12-month year of 365 days with each 4th year having 366 days and the months having 31 or 30 days except for February.

Puerperal: relating to or connected with or occurring at the time of childbirth or shortly following, or to the woman who has just given birth.

Hindu Calendar: the lunisolar calendar governing the religious life of Hindus; an extra month is inserted after every month in which there are two new moons (once every three years).

Late: being or occurring at an advanced period of time or after a usual or expected time.

Adar: the sixth month of the civil year; the twelfth month of the ecclesiastic year in the Jewish calendar (in February and March).

Ab: the eleventh month of the civil year; the fifth month of the ecclesiastical year in the Jewish calendar (in July and August).

Reign: a period during which something or somebody is dominant or powerful in specific period .

Acute Schizophrenic Episode: schizophrenia of abrupt onset and relatively short duration (a few weeks or months).

Advance Death Benefit: a percentage of death benefits paid directly to policy holders having a short life expectancy (usually 6 months).

Canicular Days: the hot period between early July and early September; a period of inactivity.
