Astatic: not static or stable.

Tonometer: measuring instrument for measuring tension or pressure (especially for measuring intraocular pressure in testing for glaucoma).

Abney Level: a surveying instrument consisting of a spirit level and a sighting tube; used to measure the angle of inclination of a line from the observer to the target.

Siphon: a tube running from the liquid in a vessel to a lower level outside the vessel so that atmospheric pressure forces the liquid through the tube.

Vas: a tube in which a body fluid circulates.

Inlet: an opening through which fluid is admitted to a tube or container.

Pressure Gage: gauge for measuring and indicating fluid pressure.
